Can Anyone Get Dental Implants?

Most people who are healthy enough for extractions or minor oral surgery are appropriate candidates for a dental implant. Patients should have healthy gums and bone to hold the implant. They should be committed to regular oral healthcare and regular dental visits. Heavy smokers, people who have uncontrolled diabetes or heart disease, or patients who have had radiation therapy to the head/neck area should evaluated by the dentist before getting the implant procedure.

Does Insurance Cover the Cost of Dental Implants?
